Stray guitars on broken songs rocked by ambiences that appeal to introspection and contemplation. Katzgraben calls forth the nostalgic memories of Tiago E., a traveler between Barcelos and Berlin, now living in London. A citizen of the world that carries in his music that very cosmopolitan sense deeply wrapped up in a cinematographic tendency. Urban landscapes in counterpoint with a bucolic feeling here reunited in a piece that the musician has been developing in the last two years.

The first recordings from Katzgraben were released in 2008 on the now extinct Portuguese netlabel, Merzbau. It was a collection of improvised guitar sketches for imaginary films recorded by Tiago C.
